Ye koi chamatkar nahi, balki ek behtareen geographical phenomenon hai. Gujarat ke Kavi Kamboi village mein sthit Stambheshwar Mahadev Temple apni is anokhi khasiyat ke liye poori duniya mein mashhoor hai. It is located right on the shores of the Gulf of Khambhat.

  • ​Low Tide (Bhata): Kuch ghanton baad, jab paani piche hat-ta hai (recedes), toh mandir phir se dikhayi dene lagta hai aur devotees andar ja kar darshan kar sakte hain.

The Gulf of Khambhat has one of the highest tidal ranges in India. Iska matlab hai ki yahan high tide aur low tide ke beech ka farq (difference) bahut zyada hota hai.

  1. ​Funnel Shape: Is gulf ki shape ek funnel (kiip) ki tarah hai, jo paani ko andar aate waqt squeeze kar deti hai, jisse tides ki height bahut badh jati hai.
  2. ​Gravitational Pull: Ye tides Chandrama (Moon) aur Suraj (Sun) ki gravitational force ki wajah se aati hain. Stambheshwar Mandir iska ek jeeta-jaagta proof hai ki kaise celestial forces hamari dharti par asar dalti hain.

The temple authorities have to release a daily schedule of tide timings for the visitors. Log yahan aakar lehron ke mandir ko nigalne ka intezar karte hain.
